  	She was shown as Dame Elizabeth Dale, widow & late the wife and sole Extrx. of Sir Thomas Dale, Knight, dec'd. My debts to be paid out of my estate in the hands of the East India Company and out of my estate in Virginia. To my neece Mrs. Dorathie Throgmorton 500 A. in Virgenia. To Edward Hanbie son of Mr. Richard Hanby all my land in Charles Hundred in Virgenia. To Richard Hanby the son of son likewise of the said Mr. Richard Hanby all my land in Sherlie Hundred in Virgenia. To my old servant Hanna Pickering £100. Remaining estate in England, Virginia or elsewhere to be divided in two equal parts, one part for the children of Sir William Throgmorton, Knight and Barronett, dec'd, and William Samborne. And the other part to my worthy deserving friends Mr. Richard Hanby and Mr. William Shrimpton and they to serve as my Extrs. To my nephew Lord Vicount Scudamore a ring of £10. Witt: Bayah Throgmorton, Thomas Fanconbergh, Lawrance Sweeteman, George Plucknett Scrivener. (NOTE: Mr. Richard Hanby and Mr. William Shrimpton were to receive half of the remaining estate not otherwise noted, which was everthing other then the two 500 acre tracts of land and the £100 to Hanna Pickering. To carry out their charge as Extrs and for their own compensation, on 31 Aug 1641, William Shrimpton of Whitechurch in the County of Southampton, Gentleman, and Richard Hamby of the City of Westminister in the County of Middlesex, Gentleman, signed "Lettre of Attornye" making Samuell Chandler of London Merchant (who is now bound for Virginia) their true and lawfull Attorney and Assignee for them to recover from William Burditt now or late being in Virginia and every other person demanding any of the estate of Sir Thomas Dale or Dame Elizabeth Dale in Virginia.)
