  Biography	There is no absolute proof that George P. Bonnewell was the son of Peter Bonnewell and his wife Elizabeth Hall. However, Elizabeth made purchases at Peter's estate sale and was later listed as a head of household in the 1830 and 1840 census in Accomack Parish. In one of those census she showed a son of the right age to have been George P. Bonnewell, who would have been born the year before his father died. Also, all other possibilities have been eliminated.
