- In his will Thomas Dixon, gentleman, gave to wife Sarah (Extr) my plantation with houses and orchards where I now live, at her decease to son Thomas tracts Bostown (or Bostontown) and Dixon's Lott. To son Isaac (Extr), land between my brother William Dixon and myself, bounded by a corner tree belonging to Capt Thomas Williams and myself and 167 acres taken out of tract Dixon's Addition which I give to son Isaac. To son Isaac 1050 acres marsh taken out of patented land, tracts Dixon's Choice Enlarged, Dam Quarter, Dixon's Lott. To daughter Elizabeth Turpin 20 schillings. To daughter Mary Purnell 20 schilings. To daughter Sarah Dixon 1 slave. My friend Capt. Thomas Williams and son-in-law William Turpin guardian of my 3 children Thomas, Isaac and Sarah Dixon.
