  	In 1753 Joseph's son William sold the 135 acres to Benjamin Hickman, son of the first Bejnamin, and at the time the grantee was living in Dorchester County, Maryland. In 1775 Arthur and Anne Emmerson sold 32 acxres to another William Hickman, stating that it was part of a larger tract which Emmerson had bought from Benjamin in 1753 by a General Court deed. The land retained by Emmerson was at the upper end of the patent, adjacent to 100 acres of tract A116, which he had previously bought; he died intestate and a son of the same name deeded 200 acres to George Holden in trust, for the purpose of a sale to pay the debts of the estate. In 1768 Holden sold to William Warner and 20 years later he and his wife Elizabeth sold to George Warner.
