  	Cattle marks were recorded in 1676 for Grace Parsons the daughter and for Anne Parsons the wife of Eustice Parsons, Anne's mark being formerly the mark of Henry Mitchell.

  	It was on this date that Anne Fathrey, aged 16, witnessed the will of William Beadle, who left his entire estate to the mother of Anne Fathrey and she was to pay his debt to Thomas Eyre. The dec'd's estate was placed in the custody of Anne Parsons.

  	This day Emanuell Hall made choice of his brother-in-law John Fathrey to be his guardian which the court approves of and orders that he take the said Hall's estate into his custody and bring in an account thereof to the next court and then enter into bond with security to be responsible for the same when required. The care and kindness formerly and still showed and taken by Col. Wm. Kendall on the bahalf and for the orphans of Emanuel Hall dec'd is still by the court desired by him to be continued in the enquireing into and settling of that stock belonging to Grace Peasons, the youngest daughter of Anne Peasons dec'd(sic), the wife of Eustace Peasons and formerly of the said Emanuel Hall and to signify the same to the next court. This day Emanuell Hall by and with the consent of his guardian John Fathrey bound himself an apprentice to John Brewer, Smith, which the court took recognisance of and order to be put upon record. (NOTE: Evidently the "dec'd" after Anne Peasons name was an error and probably should have been placed after Emanuel Hall's name which followed her's, as she was obviously the wife Eustace Peasons at this time.)

  	Upon the petition of John Fathrey, who intermarried with Anne the daughter of Emanuel Hall and Ann his wife, dec'd(sic), since the wife of Eustace Parsons. To whom one Mary Ewbanck a base child of a servant woman of Col. Kendall was assigned to the said Ann Parsons till 20 years of age. The court confirms the said Mary Ewbanck to the said Fathrey till 18 years of age according to act she being 12 years of age next August and the heifer with her increase given to her by deed of gift by the said Fathrey to revert to the said donor if she deceases before she attains the age of 18 years.   	According to Nugent, Anne Hall, now wife of John Isaac: 100 acs., N'ampton Co., escheated from Emanuell Hall dec'd., by inquisition under John Custis, Esqr., Esch'r., &c. According to Whitelaw it was in this year that patents were issued Hancock Custis for 50 acres and to Anne Hall (now the wife of John Isaac) for 100 acres, each stating that the land had escheated from Emmanuel Hall, but nothing came of either patent as John Hall was able to prove his ownership.
