  	In the name of God Amen the 19th of June MCDDLIX I Mary Bell of Accomack County in the Colony of Virginia being weak in Body but of a Perfect mind & memory Thanks to God for it calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to Dye I make & Proclaim this my Last Will & Testament in manner & form as followeth Item I Give my Son John Bell One Shilling that he may no more of my Estate, Item I Give & bequeath to my Daur Mary Bell One Feather Bed bolster & Pillows one Sheet one Cotton Blanket and One Rugg And One Pewter Dish two Pewter Plates and One Pewter Bason and a Bell Metel Skellit & a brass Candlestick Item I give & bequeath to Daur Tabitha Thatam my new red chest and my Cathiman (?) Gound (?) Item I Give and bequeath to my Granddaughter Suse Northam my Negro boy named Peter to her & her heirs for ever but my will is that my Grand:daughter shod not be possed with the negro till she Arrives to the age Twenty one years but my desire is that my Son William Bell & John Northam may have the use of this Negro Boy after my Decease till my Granddaughter Arrive to the age before mentioned and my will is that my son William Bell may have the Negro two Months in Every Year One Month in the Summer & One Month in the Winter And that John Northam may have him the remainder of the time till the girl Arrive to the age as before mentioned Item I give & Bequeath to my son William Bell All the residue of my Estate that is not already given to him & his Heirs forever also do desire that my Legacies be paid off without my Estate being Appraised. Item I hereby Constitute & appoint my beloved Son William Bell my whole & Sole Extor of this my Last Will & Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & Seal the Day Year above mentioned Mary M (The word "her" is interlined above the M and the word "mark" interlined below.) The within Last will & Testament of Mary Bell deced was proved by the Oaths of Arnold Morgan & George Johnson two of the witnesses there to And Admitted to record And on the Motion of William Bell taking the Oath & giving Arnold Morgan & Geo Johnson for his Securitys, who Entred into & acknowd Bond for that Purpose Certificate is granted him for obtaining probate therof in due form.
