  	According to Whitelaw, p668, in 1750 William Andrews inherited a portion of A26, which is just south of Pungoteague, from his father Robert Andrews, who left a wife Elizabeth and a son William as his heir. William married Anna Maria (Hall) Parker, the widow of his neighbor Caleb Parker. In 1778 William Andrews (wife Anna Maria) left his lands to his son Robert, who before he died moved across the neck road to A34, leaving his mother at the ancestral home. In 1803 Robert left to his daughter Anna Maria Hall Andrews the part where my mother now lives, and to daughter Lucy Stratton Andrews the part where Levy Rayfield now lives. In 1815 the land was surveyed for a division and Lucy received 191 acres which were on both sides of the bayside road south on Pungoteague and the old road to Belle Haven. Anna Maria had married John Wilkins and they received the home and 98 acres.

  	In 1762 Charles Scarburgh (wife Mary Ann) confirmed in his will an undeeded sale of his half of this tract to Col. Thomas Hall and the next year, he and his wife Elizabeth sold it to William Andrews as 475 acres.

  	In his will Thomas Hall named daughter Jean Hall and daughter Tabitha Hall. To daughter Margaret Fisher the articles I bought out of Francis Roberts' estate & left on said Roberts' plantation Grandson Thomas Hall Parker. Grandson Thomas Hall Fisher. Bal. of estate to be divided in 5 parts, 1/5 to daughter Anna Maria Andrews; 1/5 to daughter Jean Hall; 1/5 to daughter Tabitha Hall & 1/5 to my grandaughter Elizabeth Roberts, & the other 1/5 to my grandchildren Sarah Roberts, Margaret Roberts, Edmund Roberts, Arthur Roberts, Thomas Hall Fisher & Obediah Fisher. Plantation to be divided in 3 equal parts, the 2 lower parts I give to my daughter Anna Maria Andrews & Jean Hall, the 3rd & upper part I give to my daughter Margaret Fisher for life, reversion to my grandson Thomas Hall Fisher & for want of heirs to my grandson Arthur Rob-erts. To daughter Tabitha Hall plantation called Sambo's. To grandaughter Elizabeth Roberts house & lot in the town of Portsmouth. William Andrews Exr. Wife to have use of whole estate to bring up my children until my son comes to age or one of my daughters marry, & she still to enjoy the younger children's estates until they come to age or marry. When my son comess to age or one of my daughters marry, residue of slaves to be divided between all my children & personal estate between my wife & son & 7 daughters Wife & friends Nathaniel Bradford, Thomas Hall Parker & Edward Ker Exrs.
