  	He was shown as Edward Drewe, age 22 who came in the Samson in 1618. He had his own Muster and was living alone.

  	Upon the petition of Thomas Butler against Marie the (wife of Edward) Drew for reporting the said Thomas to have to do with Bridgett the wife of Mr. John Wilkins in the act of adultery for which purpose Joane Muns, 30 years or there abouts, sworne and examined sayeth that Joane the wife of Thomas Butler told her going down to the old Plantation together, that her husband shewed her where he layed the Head and heeles of Bridgett Wilkins, and that the said Bridgett would have given him as much cloth as would make him a shirt, and this is all this deponent can say.

  	It was in this year that Edward Drew patentetd 300 acres of tract N43 which was across a branch on the north of Captain Phillip Taylor's 500 acre patent. In 1639 another patent to Drew for an additional 200 acres in the same general vicinity, but nothing further was found about this land, so it must have been lost to others. In 1650 Drew left the 300 acres to Edward Dolby. In 1663 Dolby and wife Dorothy sold to William Kendall and 20 years later he obtained a separate patent for his land in his own name.

  	Intending to take a voyage to England. To my beloved wife Mary Drew 1/3 of my estate, viz., 1/3 of the land I am now possessed of and 1/3 of all my goodes and cattalle during her life, and after her death all my land with the housing belonging thereto I leave to Edward Dolby the eldest son of John Dolby. The other 2/3 to the children of John Dolby to be eq. div. betwixt them that he hath or shall have by Margaret his wife. My wife and John Dolby extrs. Witt: John 'J' Wilkins, William Pinley.

  	It was on this date that his will was probated. Both witnesses being dec'd, the will was proved by the depositions of Mrs. Ann Wilkins the widow of John Wilkins, of John Marshall, and of Mrs. Hanna Mountney (whose son William Pinley wrote the will). (Notes: The court ordered that the deed of gift by which Ann Bartlowe was granted her freedom, and which gave her the servant boy John Kiney, should be entered as an appendix to the dec'd's will. Ann married Robert Catlyn.
