  	On 6 Feb 1705/06 the inhabitants of Jollys Neck, "Pitts his Neck" and adjacent places petitioned for a bridge over the branch "whereon Sebastian Delastatius, Jr., now liveth" and for the clearing of a road from the branch to Oake Hall "which is a much dryer way in winter time & much more convenient & nearer to church and the Courthouse, there being enough persons to clear ye ancient road from Oake Hall to ye line." The inhabitants asked that they be exempted from clearing the other roads; instead they hoped to make "a good bridge fit for horses & carts over ye said branch & a good road from ye said branch to Oake Hall & another likewise from ye said bridge through Sabastian Delastatious' plantation & round William Williamson's plantation & over a branch on ye back of James Taylor's plantation on Robt. Pitts his landing unto ye said Pitts his main road. (They also petitioned) that Sabastian Delastatious be appointed as surveyor." The court granted this request. The petition was signed by: Jno. Braudhurst, Wm. Braudwalter, Sabastian Delastatious Sr., Chrisf. Haise, Wm. Howard, Tho. Jenkins, Cornelious Loftly, Thomas Loftly, Dennis Morris, John Pilchard, Robt. Pitt, John Read, Robt.   	On 1 Aug 1721 Sebastian Delastatious came into court and agreed to pay the fines of Mary Taylor (single woman) for fornication and having a bastard child. Ordered that he pay 500 lbs tobacco to the churchwardens at the next laying of the levy; he was also to pay court charges. Sebastian Delastatious bound himself to save the parish from supporting the child born to Mary Taylor.

  	From William Taylor Sr. to Sebastian Delastatious both planters of Accomack Co, VA for 20 shillings and hopper free forever land lying in Accomack Co on a branch called Taylors Branch issuing out of Pitts Creek and bounded as follows to wit, beginning at an old marked oad stump upon the said Sebastian's mill dam thence running south-east 7 poles to an old stump, thence running south southwest 2 1/2 poles to another stump, thence west 3 poles to the branch aforesaid and thence along the said branch to the first boundary by estimation 1 acre more or less (the said 1 acre being part of 100 acres devised to the aforesaid William and his heirs by his father James Talor late of this county, dec'd. Wit: James Davis & Dennis Blake.

  	Richard and Judith Lee of Northumberland County sold Mary Lee's half of 850 acres to Sebastian Delastatius. And in the same year he sold 200 acres to William Beavans Sr., it being the northeast corner of his land. Then in 1732 Delastatius sold another 200 acres to Abraham Dickeson, it being the southeast corner of the Lee land. In 1752 Dickeson (wife Rachel) left to his son Michael and in 1771 Michael and Mary Dickeson sold 60 acres to Ezekiel Delastatius.

  	On 6 Jun 1738 Sebastian Delastatius, the elder, (who intended to build a grist mill) petitioned for an acre of land (which belonged to Jacob Broadwater) opposite his own on Euames's Branch. Ordered that Joseph Feddeman and Joseph Robins view the land, put it in Delastatius' possession (if it impacted no improvements) and report to the next court.
