- In the suit of William Willett vs Francis Ayres & Scarburgh Drummond a jury impaneled and returned the following special verdict: That Richard Hill, formerly of the County of Accomack, Gent., dec., was possessed in fee of the land in the declaration mentioned; we also find the last will and testament of the said Hill bearing date 24 May, 1687; we also find a deed from Francis Ayres, late of the said County, father of the defendant Francis Ayres, to William Willett, grandfather of the plaintiff, bearing date the 7th day of January, 1696, which was duly acknowledged the same day in the County aforesaid; we also find a deed from the said Richard Hill to the said William Willett, bearing date the 18th May, 1678, which was acknowledged in the Court aforesaid the 16th May, 1681; we also find the plat of survey made for the said Francis Ayres by Edmund Scarburgh, late surveyor of the said County the -- day of December, 1698; we also find that the aforesaid William Willett by his last will and testament left to the plaintiff the land on which the trespass aforesaid is supposed to be committed; we further find that the mill built upon the acre of land by William Willett, dec., and mentioned in the deed from the said Richard Hill to the said William Willett, grandfather of the plaintiff, and George Middleton hath gone to decay &c. We further find that the defendants are heirs at law to the said Richard Hill; we further find that the defendants felled two trees on the 200 acres of land in the aforesaid will of Richard Hill mentioned &c.

- William Willett sold his part of this tract to his uncle John Willett, whose 60 acres were adjacent to him; the deed included "also the Millstones Spindle and Frog that belonged to the said Willetts Mill when she was formerly in repair.

- In his will Ambrose Willet gave to son Thomas Willett all that tract of land including the plantation he now lives on called Parramore's Double Purchase containing 100 acres on the seaboard side and also what household goods and other things he hath now in his possession. To son William Willett the plantation he now lives on with part of my land I now live on beginning at a Red Oak Saplin where formerly stood a marked Hickory and then down the branch to a Stoopin White Oak and thence south until it intersects with Tobais Peppers line containing 100 acres and one shilling sterling. To my son John Willett my plantation I now live on with my land not yet mentioned and 2 young steers and 1 feather bed and some funiture, etc. To my daughter Elizabeth Nicholson one shilling sterling. To daughter Ann Holland one shilling sterling. To daughter Joyce Bradshaw one young bull and one small iron pot. To daughters Ruth and Mary the remainder of my personal estate and they to have the liberty to live on the plantation and in the house where I now live durying their single lives. Son Thomas Willet sole Extr. Witt: Eliam Johnson, William Pruitt & Moses Mills.
