- It was in this year that John Custis assigned 100 acres of tract N104, which is west of Jamesville, to John White, whose first wife was an Elizabeth Johnson. In 1715 John White and his second wife Sarah White deeded to his son Obedience White. In 1764 Obedience White, wife Robinson, left to a son of the same name. In 1771 the land of Obedience White was surveyed as 110 acres, for which he received a new patent as "escheated from Sarah White. Then in 1789 Obedience White, wife Elishe, left to his son Teackle White. In 1824 the will of Teagle White directed that this land be sold and 3 years later it was bought by Arthur R. Savage.

- John White & Obedience Johnson of Northampton County sold 150 acres for 2,250 lbs tobacco and William Lurton and Thomas Lurton of Accomack County, planters, lying in Accomack County in the woods near White Marsh being part of 600 acres granted by patent to Richard Holland who conveyed it to John Scamell and Henry Lurton & the said Scamell conveyed half of the 600 acres to Obedience Johnson Senr of Northampton County dec'd who left the 150 acres to his daughter Elizabeth White, the late wife of the above John White and for want of heirs to his son Obedience Johnson aforesaid, and Elizabeth departed this life before the will of the Obedience Johnson dec'd was perfected. The 150 acres reverted to John White during his natural life & after his dec'd to the above Obedience Johnson. Description followed including mention of land surveyed by Capt. John West ...
