  	In 1709 Obedience Johnson (N116) and his wife Temperance left his part of this tract to his daughters Mary Parramore and Elizabeth, the wife of John White. Mary later married Washburne Ashby and in 1715 the Ashbys and the Whites united in a deed for the combined 300 acres to William and Thomas Lurton, which thus placed the whole patent in the hands of various members of the Lurton family.

  	On 5 Apr 1715 Washbourne Ashby & Mary his wife of Northampton County sold to William Lurton & Thomas Lurton of Accomack County for 2,250 lbs tobacco a tract of land in Accomack County containing 150 acres lying in the woods near White Marsh, being part of 600 acres of land granted by patent to Richard Holland and by the said Holland conveyed the 600 acres to John Scamell & Henry Lurton; & the said John Scamell conveyed the moiety or half part of the 600 acres to Obedience Johnson of Northampton County dec'd and by the said Obedience Johnson last will & testament did give the above 150 acres being the moiety of the 300 acres to his daughter Mary Parramore the now wife of Washbourne Ashby and the 150 acres is bounded on the North East by 1,000 acres of land surveyed for Capt. John West and from the West land running by two parallel lines drawn South West half westerly to complete the said 150 acres being the Sourth East moiety of half part of the 300 acres which 150 acres the said Washbourne Ashby who by and with his wife Mary conveys to William and Thomas Lurton.   	A power of attorney from James Longo to Washburn Ashby was proved by the oaths of Daniel Rogers and Josiah Johnson. By virtue of the above power of attorney, Washburn Ashby acknowledged a deed from James Longo to Ezekiel Ashby. Whitelaw shows that in 1735 James Longo sold his 70 acres of this tract to Ezekiel Ashby, and the next year Elizabeth Longo sold her part to the same buyer, who thus became the owner of the eastern two-thirds. In 1764 Ashby (wife Sarah) left to his sons John and William, and while it was not traced further, Ashbys continued to live in this vicinity for a long while afterwards.
