  	In his will Edmund Bebbe gave to son John Bibbe the plantation whereon I now live. To my son Edmund Bibbe 200 A. bought of Thomas Tompson. To my son William Bibbe 450 A. in Accomack Co. bought of (Capt.) Nathaniel Littleton. To sons John and Edmund my land on Hogg Island to be eq. div. The rest of my moveable estate to remain in the hands of my beloved wife Esther Bibbe during her widowhood to bring up my children until they are of lawful age, and then the cattle on Hogg Island to be div. by my three sons, and the cattle on my plantation to be div. by my wife and two daus. Esther and Frances Bibbe. Wife extrx. Sons to be at age at 18, and daus. at 16. My friends Benjamin Stratton and William Waters to oversee. Witt: Benjamin Stratton, Richard Cripps, William Waters. (Marshall's Note: The widow Esther married Thomas Leonard, and the distribution shows that Nathaniel Bebbe was a major devisee.)

  	Edward Bibbee left the land he bought from John & Mary Michael in 1678 to his son John, who left to Elizabeth Benthall. In 1721 Mrs. Benthall deeded to her daughter Elishe who married Danile Godwin three years later.

  	Brice Clagett shows Esther Floyd as allegedly marring Richard Rogers in 1713 and Emma Smith McMath lined that out and wrote in that she married Edmund Bibby, one of the other patentees of Hog Island, in 1681. However, Esther Floyd was under age 16 in her father's will of 1687.
