  	According to Henrietta Ayres Sheppard, Captain Obedience Johnson (2nd or Jr.) married Dorothy Washburne, daughter of John Washburne and his wife Susanna, who was a daughter of Thomas Savage and his wife Bridget. (Sources: N'hamp County Papers - Package 29, a suit over land with Kellam, Causes 1743.) Henrietta also noted there was a suit in N'hamp Co concerning a road which was described in Bundle 29, which she had seen and which has disappeared from the stacks of the County Records. (NOTE: Based on the date of certified copies, she was doing this research in 1921.)
