  	Mr. Charles W. B. Marshall, a former Worcester Countain, died in Philadelphia on Monday last, the 26th. He was born near Snow Hill January 4th, 1842, and for a number of years resided in Pocomoke City, but for the past twenty-five years has lived in Philadelphia. Mr. Marshall was well known on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia as a publisher, having founded "The Leader" at Crisfield, "Eastern Virginian" at Onancock, and the "Times" at Salisbury. Three sons survive him. Charles R. Marshall, of Philadelphia, William Brickhead Marshall, of Camden, N. J., and Matthew Purnell Marshall, of California. The remains were interred in Fernwood Cemetery, Philadelphia. (Democratic Messenger, Snow Hill, MD, Sat., 31 Aug 1912)
