- In his will John Furbush Turner gave and bequeathed unto loving wife Bridget Turner the use of my plantation on which I now live during her natural life of widowhood also the use of my following Negroes; Peter, Patt and Daniel and also the use & benefit of my vessel during her natural life.. I give & bequeath the said Negro man Daniel unto my grandson William Oague. I give and bequeath unto my eldest son John Turner upon the death or marriage of my said wife Bridget Turner the whole of my plantation on which I now live. To my grandson Thorogood Turner, son of John Turner. I give and bequeath unto my son George Turner all my wearing apparel. I give to my daughter Rosey Ross the sum of six shillings cash to be paid out of my estate. I give and bequeath unto my grandson Thomas Elliott son of Thomas Elliott my two Negroes Edy and Adam. To my son John Turner my negro man named George. To my grandson John Elliott son of Thomas Elliott. I give unto my daughter Nancy Savage (wife of Revel Savage) the use of my following Negroes Rachel and her two children Ralph and Arenah. After the death of my daughter Nancy Savage I give the said Negro woman Rachel to my grand daughter Polly Savage daughter of said Nancy Savage. I also give and bequeath unto my grand son John Savage son of Revel Savage after the death of his mother Nancy Savage the above mentioned Negroes Ralph and Arenah. I give unto my said daughter Nancy Savage the use of my Negro mna Bob and after her death to my grand son Abel Savage son of Revel Savage. I give unto my daughter Esther Addison wife of Arthur Addison the sum of six shillings cash to be paid out of my estate. I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Caty Savage Turner daughter of Susanna Dowty the following Negroes Abel & Mary. I give unto my daughter Susanna Dowty wife of Thomas Dowty the sum of six shillings cash to be paid out of my estate. My grand children: John Ross, David Ross & Rosey Ross children of Rosey Ross, Polly Turner daughter of John Turner, Mary Turner, Bridget Turner, Betey Turner and Samuel Turner children of George Turner, Thomas Dowty, Littleton Dowty & William Dowty children of Thomas Dowty, Rachel Addison, Rebecca Addison, Arthur Addison, George Addison and John Addison, children of Arthur Addison. - In 1766 William Andrews & his wife Susannah sold part of this tract to Robert Small, who acquired more of the Brimer land. In 1821 a survey of the land of Levi Small, son of Robert, showed that he had owned 154 1/2 acres and a mill between the two most northerly branches of Muddy Creek. The wester part of 79 acres and the mill went to Gillet Small, while the eastern part of 75 1/2 acres went to John Addison in right of his unnamed wife.
