- The will of Temperance Kitchen in 1738 (Acc Co Wills 1737-1743, p. 105) named Comfort Justice as a sister, while Robert Justice was to settle the part of her estate in Somerset County, Maryland. She directed that money be spent to brick her grave with that of Major Scarburgh. The will of Capt. George Hope, in 1722, named both Comfort Ewell and Temperance Scarburgh as daughters (Acc Co Wills, Deeds & c 1715-1729, p. 424). Mark Ewell died testate in 1727, naming sons as James, Mark, George Hope, and leaving an unnamed widow (Acc Co Wills, Deeds & c 1715-1729, p. 134). These three wills, together with that of his father Ralph Justice, show Robert Justice married Comfort Ewell, the widow of Mark Ewell and daughter of Capt. George Hope, soon after 1727 and had a son Richard Justice by 1729. Comfort Ewell also had daughters, Ann, Elizabeth and Sarah. It is entirely possible and indeed, probable, that Robert Justice had been married before 1727, since he would have been approximately 37 years of age in that year. If so, the records do not show this.

- When Robert Justice wrote his will in 1777 he was a very old man and likely had lost some of his children. He did not give his relationship to the people to whom he left his estate. He left property to Eli Young's three children and to a Robert Webb, among others. Since John Young II, had a son named William Justice Young, who named a daughter Eli Young, it appears that John Young II's first wife was Eli Justice, daughter of Robert Justice. In the early 1830s, William Justice Young's children were named as the only heirs of Robert Webb and Joseph Webb, both of whom served in the Virginia State Navy during the Revolutionary War. No record has been found of the deaths or the settling of the estates of these two Webb men. They apparently had no children, since their heirs were Youngs. Their relationship to the Young and Justice families has not been found in the records. Eli Justice, born circa 1732, could have married (1) circa 1750 Thomas Webb and had Robert Webb and Joseph Webb before marrying (2) circa 1757, John Young II, and giving birth to William Justice Young circa 1757.
