- In his will Obedience Parramore left all his land to the heirs of daughter Hamutual Rodgers, wife of Jackson Rodgers; for want of heirs to Richard Parramore, then to Thomas Parramore and then to James Ashby, son of Ezekiel Ashby. He left all his personal estate to the heirs of daughter Hamutual and for want of heirs to Esra Parramore, Richard Parramore, Thomas Parramore, Keziah Parramore, Bridget Parramore and James Ashby. (NOTE: It seems evident that by naming James Ashby, son of Ezekiel Ashby, along with his known Parramore nephews and nieces, that James was also a nephew of Obedience Parramore, making Ezekiel Ashby, Obedience Parramore's half-brother, being a son of Washbourne (23) Ashby and Obedience Parramore's mother Mary Johnson.)
