CAPE CHARLES - Funeral services for William C. Barnes, 82 of Accomack County, whose death occurred Wednesday at his residence, the old Governor Wise home in Deep Creek, were conducted Friday afternoon from Leatherbury's Chapel of which he was a member Interment was in Mount Holly Cemetery, Onancock, with services conducted by the Rev. Lee Varner
Mr Barnes, a native of Accomack County, was the son of the late Louis and Margaret Barnes of Accomack. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Nannie Barnes; two sons, Robert Barnes of Greenbush and W. T. Barnes of Deep Creek, and the following grandchildren: H. L. Barnes, Richmond; Leon Barnes, Baltimore; Mrs Mary Wessells, and Robert Barnes Jr., Greenbush.
