[Note: Although this record shows no connection to William's parents, they must be William Bell, Sr. I72679 & Elizabeth I73866 because William (died 1799) mentions his brother "Anthony Bell," and William, Sr. and Elizabeth Bell's son Anthony is the only Anthony that exists during this period besides the Anthony Bell who was the son of William Bell & Ann, but Ann's will (written 23 Oct 1817) leaves a bequest for her son "William" which could not be the instant "William," because he died in 1799] 21 June 1802: It was on this date that William Bell left his son Anthony Bell £10 cash to be paid to each of my son William Bell's children.

I give to my grandson Gillet Ward ten pounds to be paid him when he arrives to age. I give to my grand daughter Nancy Ward ten pounds when she arrives to age. I give to my grand daughter Drewsilla Floyd twenty pounds cash to be paid her when she arrives to age. I give to my daughter Bridget Bell one bed and furniture. I give to my daughter Betsey Bell one bed and furniture. I give to my son in law Jacob Fathery all the money he owes me. I give to my son in law John Floyd all the money he owes me. The remainder of my estate to be sold and divided between Anthony Bell, my daughter Rachel Scott, my daughter Susey Bell, daughter Briget Bell and daughter Betsey Bell.
