- In his will Anthony Bell gave wife Keturah Bell a horse named Phillis and one carriage. To son Gilbert Bell my land on which he now lives and 15 acres of swamp land. To dau. Maria Bradford the privilege of fire wood for her lot and log timber to fence it for her life. To said Maria Bradford the interest of $800 for her life and at her death to be divided between Margaret Sary Johnson and Ann Bell Bradford, and if at the death of the said Maria her daus. Should be dead, then the sons of Gilbert Bell to process equally the $800 Burwill August Bell, James Wilmore Bell. Son Gilbert Bell and George W. Bell, son of George H. Bell, executors. 29 Dec 1859. The balance of estate not previously mentioned to Gilbert Bell and dau Maria Bradford, wife of William Bradford, equally divided. Wit: Jno W. Elliott, Thos G. Elliott (14 Feb 1860), Abel J. Bird.
