- John and Sophia Arlington sold part of this tract to William P. Moore, and 6 years later, he and his wife Tabitha sold this their home place to William Mister. In 1839 Mister heirs united in a deed to James K. Savage and 3 years later he and his wife Ann sold to Albet R. Heath, and 5 years after that he and his wife Sarah R. sold to William P. Moore Sr. In 1852 this was one of the 3 tracts included in the unrecorded deed of gift from Moore to his daughter Margaret J.W. Rogers (see tract A37E) and in 1884 she left it to her daughter Susan S. Rogers, who became the second wife of Henry Battaile whom she survived.

- Edward A. & Catharine Revell sold the mansion, mill and 372 acres still belong to them to William Perry Moore. In 1873 Moore left this plantation to a grandson William P. Moore III, and 4 years later he and his wife Mary A. deeded to their daughter Bettie W. and her husband Rudolph H. King for their lives and then to their children. In 1905 the Kings and their children sold as 600 acres to L. Floyd Nock.

- Sisters Jane, Elizabeth & Margaret Ewell (none of whom ever married) upon the death of their brother William united in a deed for 120 acres to William P. Moore Sr., and 10 years later he wrote a deed of gift to his daughter Margaret J.W. Rogers, the wife of George S. Rogers, for 3 tracts of land including this one. This deed was never recorded but was found in the possession of Mrs. J.H. Hiden of Pungoteague, on of the Rogers granddaughters.

- A trustee sold the Kellam land as 271 acres to William P. Moore, who in 1872 left to his grandson William P.M. Kellam. In 1880 he and his wife Sarah sold to Charles H. Rogers.

- In his will William P. Moore Sr. gave daughter Anna H. Smith $10,000; $5,000 in cash and $5,000 in bonds. To granddau. Susan Rogers, $1,000. To grandson, Edmund Potter my plantation called the "Stringer Land", 170 acres. To grandson, William P. Moore III, my plantation on Pungoteague Creek including the "Red Bank" farm, 700 acres; also my farm called the "Fisher Land" which I bought of Levi D. Dix; also my farm in Northampton County situated in Brickhouse Neck, 400 acres; also my farm near Pungoteague called the "Hill Land", 140 acres, to him and his heirs forever. Should my son William P. Moore Jr., or any of his heirs claim the lands given to William P. Moore III, then they shall forfeit to William P. Moore III the sum of $10,000 to be paid out of the part of my estate herinafter devised to my son William P. Moore Jr. To grandson William P. M. Kellam platation lying on Andua Creek known as the Augustus J. Kellam land, 300 acres. To grandson Stewart Kellam the plantation I bought of Richard W. Kellam, lying on a branch of Andua Creek, 290 acres. I hereby direct and it is my will that John C. P. Kellam and his heirs shall not have and enjoy one red cent of my estate; and should my son, William P. Moore Jr. ever bequeath and devise, directly or indirectly, any part of the estate I hereinafter give and devise to him, to the said John C. P. Kellam or any of his heirs, then in that event he shall forfeit the entire estate herein bequeathed to him. The residue of my estate real and personal to my son William P. Moore Jr. and grandson, William P. Moore III, divided equally. Son William P. Moore Jr. and grandson William P. Moore III joint execs. 1 Nov 1872. Wit: Elijah Brittingham, James M. Brickhouse. Proved 11 Nov 1872. Admitted to Probate 27 Jan 1873.
