Also on this same date Clement Onely (attorney: Cha. Holden) admitted a debt of 521 lbs tobacco due to Samuel Serjeant. Ordered that Onely pay the debt and court costs.

  	On 18 Sep 1694 in Accomack Court Clement Onely complained that John Walker and his wife Alice illegally kept Onely's daughter Elizabeth in their custody. Elizabeth along with the Walkers were present in court; John and Alice alleged that Elizabeth's mother had given her to them till she attained lawful age. Capt. John Custis (attorney for Onely) objected that the Walkers could not produce an indenture and had no right to keep the child in their service. The court agreed that the "right and property of the said child is in ye father." Elizabeth was to "be wholly at her said father's disposal."
