  	In her will Virginia A. E. Clayton (formerly from Virginia) now of the town of Morrisania in the County of Westchester, State of New York. To beloved only son Alfred F. Clayton, now a resident of the state of Virginia, minor, all my personal estate. Guardianship of son Alfred to my brother Thomas G. Clayton. Brother Thomas G. Clayton exec. 21 Oct 1867. Wit: John L. Burnett, M. H. Henderson, Eliza M. Doremus. Westchester County Surrogate's Court: 28 Oct 1867 David Van Der Planck declared special guardian to the minor heirs. The petition of Thomas G. Clayton of Guilford, Virginia showed that Virginia A. E. Clayton departed this life 24 Oct 1867. Probate granted 27 Jun 1869. Recorded in Accomack County 31 Jan 1870. According to Whitelaw, title to this part of tract A109 descended from George Clayton and his wife Ann K., who was the daughter of Charles Bagwell and his wife Nancy Grinalds, to a daughter Virginia A.E. Clayton, who must also have married a Clayton, as in 1870 she left everything to her son Alfred F. Clayton.
