It was ordered that John Addison, John T. Elliott and John C. Mapp divide the slaves Aaron, Betty, Hannah, Nanny, Mary, Esther, Parker, Custis and Eliza in the following manner: To George Scarburgh & ux in right of said wife, to John Leatherbury & ux in right of said wife, to Raymond Riley & ux in right of said wife, to Henry Custis & ux in right of said wife, to Sukey Stott and Margaret West each 1/7 and to Eliza P. C., Margaret A., Sarah H., George P., Anne R., Catherine C., and Tabitha S. Scarburgh 1/7 equally among them.” The final decree is in Order Book 37 page 227 and this shows that these are the slaves of John C. West.
