  	The assumption that Seth Williams was a son of James Williams and his wife Susey Matthews is based on the fact that a James Williams (assumed to be either his father or his brother) was security on the 1831 M.L.B. of Seth Williams and Rosy Roberts and in 1842 in the naming of relatives of dec'd Rev. War veterans, it was noted that Peggy, wife of Teackle Roberts had died intestate leaving children Arthur T. Roberts, Rosey (now wife of Seth Williams) and Esther (now wife of John Williams) and that perhaps sisters Rosey & Esther Roberts married brothers Seth & John Williams.
