  	The Upshur Family in Virginia, p. 32, footnote 98 on the ancestors of Littleton Dennis, show Sarah as the daughter of Col. Southy Littleton (1645-1679). However, The Littleton Heritage by Matthew Wise, p. 8 discounts this, showing Sarah as the wife of Adam Michael (d. 1689) and John Custis III (d. 1714). Lynn Perry in his 1963 report Dennis & Co also showed her as a Littleton, but not a daughter of Col. Southy Littleton, but a possible daughter of John Littleton of Guilford, Acc Co, VA. However John Littleton's (of Back Creek) will of 15 Sep 1718 did not name a daughter Sarah nor any Dennis grandchildren.

  	Lynn Perry states that Elizabeth may have been a daughter of George Day, but the records are not positive. Becky Miller reports that George Day was in the Pocomoke River area of Somerset as indicated by a 1674 debt case and from 1666 to 1672 he owned Crambrook in Pitts Creek Hundred. More research would have to be done to see if George had a daughter named Elizabeth, but the time period and location are right.
