- In his will Woncy McClemmy gave to son William and heirs dwelling plantation “Spicklefield”, wife to have use of one-half of the land during her life. To son William one feather bed that testator now lies on, one gray mare and colt, testator’s one riding horse, and one young horse running in Liz’s neck for the use and behalf of the schooling of my younger son Woney McClemmy, one negroe man named Bosen. To son William testator's part of Pocomoke Bridge for use during his lifetime. To wife Eliza, one feather bed, one negroe wench during her lifetime named Phillis and after her decease to be equally divided between daughters Martha and Helenor McClemmy. To wife one white working guilding and one gray mare. To daughter Martha one feather bed and one white mare and colt. To son Woncy the half of “Friend's Gift” surveyed by testator and John Truit, Jr., one half belonging to said John Truit to be equally divided between the parties. To son Woney one negroe boy named Frank to be delivered to him at age 18 to be possessed by testator’s wife during her widowhood. If she remarries then son William to take him into possession until the time limit expires. To son Woney one feather bed, one mare, one horse. To wife and son Wm. one hand mill. To wife and children aforesaid and daughter Mary Robertson residue of estate. To wife Eliza. and son William are named Administatrix and Administrator. Witt: George Trewitt, Sr., George Trewitt, John Allan. At probate Eliza. McClemmy claims dower rights.
