  	The first we know of him is his purchase of a tract called "Kensington Green" in old Somerset County, which is now Worcester County. We do not know the name of his first wife who was the mother of Elizabeth (Howard) Houston, apparently the only surviving child of this union. After 14 Feb 1711 he married Sarah (-----) Hall, the widow of William Hall, who died in 1710.
