  	On 11 December 1908, Annie J. Wright, for $3600, bought 46 acres near Pastoria, called the "Core Land", from John S. Parsons, Special Commissioner (Deeds 91, p. 457). This was land that had belonged to her sister, Grace L. Bundick. The tract was sold by Annie J. Wright's surviving daughter and daughter-in-law, both widows, on 3 February 1959, to A. Garland Evans, for $6500 (Deeds 231, p. 80). It is located on U.S. 13 at Pastoria, in Lee District, approximately one-half mile south of Garland Evans's home, across the highway from Bay Country Homes. Apparently this was the home of William Thomas Wright, II, and his family in 1900.
  Biography	No local record has been found of her marriage to William T. Wright in Acc Co, VA, Worc Co, MD, or Som Co, MD. Mrs. Annie J. Wright, a member of the Zion Baptist Church, died at her home at Bethesda, MD, on 30 May 1950, aged 87 years. Survivors were listed (Pen. Ent., 2 Jun 1950).

  	After her husband's death in 1942 Annie J. Wright apparently lived on her land near Pastoria until after the death of her elder daughter in 1945. She died at her home in Bethesda, Maryland, on 30 May 1950, aged 87 years, and was buried beside her husband in Parksley Cemetery (Obituary in Pen. Ent., June 2, 1950 issue). Her tombstone gives her birth in 1863 and death in 1950 (Graven Stones, p. 286). She, too, did not leave a will. She was survived by two children, Mrs. Annie W. Eggers and Dr. W. T. Wright and by two married granddaughters and a grandson, Jack Wright.
