  	On 3 August 1680, William Anderson signed a certificate that "Mrs. Amy ffookes deceased, did by her last will and testament give unto Mary Right the daughter of Ann Myles and of Henry Right, deceased, the value of 1000 pounds of tobacco" (Wills & Deeds 1676 - 1690, p. 219). Anderson was turning over to Roger Myles, Mary's step-father, the value of the tobacco in live stock.

  	On 18 March 1693, Mary Wright bought 200 acres of land "in the wood between Gargaphia and Gilford", from Roger Miles and his wife Ann, for 1800 pounds "Tobacco and Cask" (Wills & Etc 1692-1715, part l, p. 88). Mary Wright had apparently sold her livestock inheritances and was putting their value into land.

  	On 2 Jun 1708 in Accomack County Court, Mary Right, who had been presented for having a bastard child, was summoned to this court. When her mother informed the court that Mary was weak and unable to come, they ordered that she appear at the next court.
