  	This was the western portion, next to the 100 acres of N120 which John Hamerin already owned, and upon his intestate death he was succeeded by a son William. In 1701 William (wife Jane) left 70 acres of the N120 land to John Lawrence; the balance became merged with this land, which he left to his brothers-in-law James and Bartholomew Twiford.

  	Richard Savage was granted administration of the estate of John Lecat (deceased), that was in the possession of Thomasin Lecat, who had recently died as well. He swore that she had made no will; Thomas Bagwell and William Savage were accepted as security. Before the next court John Willis, Robert Savage, Daniel Willis and Bartholomu Twiford (or any three of them) were to inventory and appraise the goods left to Thomasin Lecat by the will of John Lecat (both now deceased).

John Booth and Elizabeth Hutton were presented for fornication "by Common fame." Ordered that the above persons were ordered to appear at the next court to answer their presentments.

  	William Twiford was presented by Mr. William Burton (churchwarden) for "not abiding at Church nor beheaving himselfe as he aught during davine service or common prayer & preaching." Summoned to court, Twiford failed to appear; the sheriff had been ordered to take him into custody till he posted bond to come to this court. Since he could not clear himself, the court fined him 5 shillings (or 50 lbs tobacco) and court costs.
