  	Gunter &c. vs - Suit for Dower & division. Gunter "That a certain Laban Gunter the elder late of this county departed this life intestate in the year 1822 leaving your oratrix Sarah his widow and nine children, viz: your orator William L. Gunter, your oratrix Polly Henderson, wife of Robert Henderson, and Margaret, Edward, Anna, Sally, Betsy, Laban & Maria Gunter, and leaving his wife enscient with a child, who was afterwards born and died within two days of its birth; that at the time of his death the said Laban Gunter was seized in fee simple of a tract of land near Drummondtown containing 100 acres, also one other tract containing 50 acres and of one other tract situate near New Church containing 30 acres; that at the death of the said Laban Gunter the said land descended to his aforesaid children subject to the dower of your oratrix Sarah &c. 26 Nov. 1823 - p. 260."

  	In the 27 Sep 1831 court certification of the heirs of Thomas Bonnewell, formerly an officer in the State Navy of Virginia, it was found that "That Peggy Bonwell (sister of Thomas) married James Lewis and died leaving three children, to-wit: Peggy, Sally & William - That Peggy Lewis married Robert Russell and died leaving children unknown; that Sally married Laban Gunter & is now his widow; that William Lewis died some years since leaving two children, to-wit: William & John, both of whom are dead leaving Sophia Carner, wife of William, their only heir at law."
