  	In his will Edmund Neale, gentleman, gave to son John Neale £150 at the age of 18. To daughters Mary and Grace Neale, £100 each at the age of 16 or when they marry; if any of these children die before they inherit the survivors are to have their portion; my wife Elizabeth is to have the use of the money during their minority. To my mother Grace Neale and my sisters Francis and Margaret Neale and to my kind friend Mrs. Dorothy Tanfield 1 ring of the value of 30 shillings each, within a year of my death. To Mr. Catelyne, to Mr. Foster, to Lewis Thomas, to Franics Lond, Clement Tarrye and to Dorothy Wood 10 shillings each. To Ann Tarrye and to Damariss Pateson 5 shillings each. To the poor of St. Peters Northampton 20 shillings. To the poor of All Saints Northampton 40 shillings. Residue to wife Elizabeth Neale who is executirx. Witnesses - Mrs. Dorothy Tanfield & Lewis Thomas. Proviso that if daughters marry against their mother's wishes then their mother may reduce their legacy as she thinks fit, and give what is left to son John and other daughter. Inventory valued at £877.12.4 Wardship of John, Mary & Grace Neale given as in said will.

  	The verbal will of Col. Obedience Robins. Some years since the testator was very sick, his wish was that his estate should be div. by his wife [no name] and children. And that his wife, the mother of this deponent [(Maj.) William Waters], was to have the use of his estate for life, and that her younger son Obedience Robins was to have the 900 A. on the south part of his dividend at the seaboard side, part of which John Daniel now dwells on. Also he desired that this deponent and his brother-in-law (Capt.) William Andrews would assist our mother to see his will performed. Witt: (Maj.) William Waters aged 39, (Capt.)   	He was identified in two N'hamp patents in Mar 1643 as a total of 950 acres. The first of the patents, for 500 acres, divided in 2 parcels, was due by order of the court dated 22 Mar 1638/9 as also for the transportation of 10 persons, among them Robins himself, Mrs. Grace Robins and her daughter Margaret Waters. From these claims for headrights, it would appear that he made a trip to England and while there had married Grace O'Neil, who first husband Edward Waters, was buried there on 22 Aug 1630.
