  	Elias Taylor (wife Comfort) left the land he inherited from this father to his son Joshua, but he died without an heir and the title passed jointly to his six sisters: Naomi, who married first Samuel Davis, and secondly, Joseph Stockley; Comfort, who married first Solomon Ewell, and secondly Charles Stockley; Hannah, who married James Wishart; Esther, who married first William White and secondly John Williams, both of Somerset; Elizabeth, who married William Whittington of Somerset; and Mary, who married John Kendall. Presumably Elias Taylor's land was surveyed and found to contain 762 acres, because in 1733 the six daughters and their respective husbands of that date gave release deeds to each other for 127 acres.

  	Based on land sales & widow's relinquishment of dower rights when Elias Talyor sold land, Whitelaw believed that Elias Taylor married 1st, William Anderson's daughter Comfort, and then a 2nd wife Ann and finally another wife Comfort. However, when she left a will in 1743 as Comfort Finney, she named all of the daughters she had with Elias Taylor. So evidently her name was Comfort Ann Anderson.
