  	It was in this year that Mason Abbott sold 300 acres of Whitelaw's tract A118 he had bought from William Miles to Solomon Ewell and he and his wife Comfort resold to William Finney (of tract A60). This Fowkes-Finney land began a short distance above the mouth of Parker's Creek and extended between the creek and the neck road out to a crossroad in the neck. In 1732 William Finney gave the 300 acres to his son Andrew, and 10 year later Andrew and his wife Elizabeth left 200 acres to his son Abel and 100 acres to his son Andrew; nothing more was found recorded about son Andrew. In 1768 Abel Finney, wife Elizabeth, left to his son William, who in 1813 left his land to his children. Thirteen years later a survey showed 293 acres available for the division.

This indenture was between William Finney of Accomack County and Comfort Taylor of the same place Widow of the other part (Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of a marriage shortly to be Chsd and Solomised between the said William Finney and the said Comfort Taylor it is Covenanted Granted concluded condescnded and fully agreed by and between the Parties to these presents that he the said William Finney and the said Comfort Taylor their and either and every of their Severall and respectively Heirs, Executor Admrs and Assigns respectively shall not at any times after the said marriage shall take effect, and is fully comsumated by any ways or means whatsoever intermeddle with claime any right title and interest in or to any part or parcell of the real and personal estate that they and either of them is at the time of the Signing and Sealing of the Same Indenture Severally and respectively in their own proper rights as they are Thereof now Seized and possessed But that the same shall Stand contimue and be as their Several and respective Estates in the same State and Condition as they now are and shall be deemed construed and taken to be to each of them their Heirs Extr Admrs and Assigns as the distinct and Severall rights as they now Tand before the Coverture and that they he she or any of their Heirs Exrs Admrs and Assigns shall not have make claim or may have any pretence of Claim right or Title to any part of any or either of their Estate real of personal ...
