On 29 May 1834 it was certified that Elijah Bayly son of Robert Bayly who was a seaman in the Virginia State Navy in the Revolutionary War is dead. On 25 Jul 1835 it was certified that Hetty Trader, Robert Bayly, Henny Bayly, Nancy Bayly, Polly Bayly and Betsy Bayly are the only heirs at law of Robert Bayly who was a seaman in the Virginia State Navy in the Revolutionary War. On 31 Oct 1836 it was certified that Robert Bayly is the grandson and only heir at Law of Robert Bayly, a seaman in the Virginia State Navy in the Revolutionary War. On 28 Feb 1853 it was certified that Hetty Trader one of the heirs of Robert Bayly is now the wife of Henry Davis. Robert and Henry (probably Henny) Bayly are still living, Polly is dead and intestate and without issue, Betsy Bayly and Betsy Wessells are still living. On 29 Jan 1855 it was certified that Nancy Bayly, widow of Robert Bayly, a reputed soldier in the Revolutionary War, died in August 1846, and that Elizabeth Wessells is her only living child.
