- MRS. TAPPAN DIES AT 66
Mrs. Alicet Margaret Tappan, 66. of 107 Buxton Ave. died at 2 yesterday afternoon at the Elizabeth Buxton hospital. Death followed a three month illness.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night.
Mrs. Tappan was born In Accomack county. She came here three months ago from Hallwood to make her home with her son, A. K. Tappan. She was a member of the Baptist church. She was the widow of Arthur Tappan.
Surviving are five sons, A. K. Tappan, W. E. Tappan of Jersey City, N.J., I. D. Tappan of Frederica, Del.; W. B. Tappan, now in the army, and H. G. Tappan of Salisbury, Md.; and eight grandchildren.
