- Mr. Millard E. Barnes
POQUOSON - Mr. Millard E. Barnes, 82, of 119 Odd Road, died Thursday in Riverside Hospital.
He was born in Parksley, Accomac County, and retired from Newport News Shipbuilding.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Newport News, and a member of York Lodge 89 Odd Fellows.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie B. Barnes; three sons, Nelson Barnes of Newport News, Beverly W. Barnes of Tabb and Neal Barnes of Poquoson; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Claytor Rollins Funeral Home by the Revs. Aaron Smith and Noland Davidson. Burial in Parklawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight.
