  	JOSEPH S. CAVENDY. Joseph. S. Cavendy, the chief engineer at the Federal Building, and ex-assistant custodian under Postmaster Sullivan, died at his home, 702 Quincy street, at 11:30 o'clock -this morning. Mr. Cavendy has been seriously ill for the past four weeks with Bright's disease. He was 44 years old, and leaves a wife and two children, both daughters. His father was a commander in the navy during the late war, and Mr. Cavendy served as a boy on his father's ship during the conflict. He was a member of Mansfield Post, G. A. R. and well known in Grand Army circles throughout the city. The arrangements for his funeral have not as yet been completed.
