  	A graveside service will be held Monday for Howard Clifton Abbott, 85, of Williamsburg. He died Dec. 19. Mr. Abbott was born in Mappsville in Accomack County and had lived on the Peninsula for 55 years. He had been employed on a fishing boat as a diesel engineer. Mr. Abbott is survived by two daughters, Judy A. Ingram of Grafton and Susan A. Clark of Williamsburg; a son Joseph C. Abbott of Newport News; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Sunday at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Parklawn Memeorial Park in Hampton by the Rev. William Kessler.
