- June 1825 session MD Court of Appeals, Bevans vs. Taylor, appeal from Worc. Co. Court - Roger Taylor, died 1768 in possession of tract Temple Comb, willed to son Obed who died 1817 with children. Roger "leaving Alexander Taylor, his eldest son, and several other children...That Alexander died intestate in 1785, leaving Teackle Taylor, his eldest son, and Joshua Taylor, a younger son. That Teackle in 1790 married Keziah Mallit, by whom he had...an illegitimate son called Teackle...that after the marriage he acknowledged the said son to be his child, and that subsequent to the marriage he had other children, viz. Alexander, and the other lessors of the plaintiff [Nancy Taylor, James Buby and wife Peggy, and James Taylor] and died in 1803, leaving the said children."
