William Berriman aged 34 or there abouts, sworne and examined sayth that William Smith spoke to him to speak to Roger Roads for 200 lbs tobacco due to the said Smith and that Roads promised this deponent a bill for the said tobacco in behalf of William Smith, but the said Roads went over the bay and gave him not a bill.
