  	Woolsey Burton [son of Benjamin] of Dagsberry Hundred, yoeman, bought from Sarah Burton of Angola and Indian River Hundred, spinster, a parcel of land containing 90 acres, being a part of a tract called Bottle and Cake, whereof William Burton, commonly called Long Burton, late of Sussex Co, by his will devised same to his son Joseph, father of aforesaid Sarah, subject to the thirds or dower of Elizabeth, the widow of said William, which being alloted to her by virtue of an order of the Orphans Court and whereas Joseph died intestate, seized of the remaining 2/3 leaving a widow and 6 children, aforesaid Sarah, Mary, Thomas, Elizabeth, William Bagwell and Patience to whom the lands descended. Tract adjoining land devised by Benjamin Burton to his son the aforesaid Woolsey Burton and runs along Herring Creek.

  	Findagrave shows him as Thomas Burton, unkown - 9 Apr 1830. According to the Bible Record he died on April 9, 1830 at age of 60, Bible Ref 87A #530.7. His father was Joseph Burton according to the records at St. Georges where his death is also recorded as April 9, 1830. He had nine children still living in 1849 but his tenth daughter, Keturah, had died in 1832. (per K. Henn 11/03/2016)
