  	In his will Moses Griffith gave to son Jeremiah Griffith the plantation called Dogwood Neck. If he should die without an heir of his body lawfully begotten then to go to my grand daughter Louisa Griffith. The plantation whereon I now live I lend the use of it to my son Benjamin Griffith for his life and at his death if not a male heir to go to my son Jeremiah Griffith . I lend to my son Nathan Griffith the plantation whereon he now lives for his life and at his decease to go to his son Thomas Griffith if he should be living if not to go to his next son if any if no son living to go to his lawful heirs. I give unto my son Moses Griffith fifty three acres of that land I bought of Daniel R. Hall on the westward end of the said land; also my part of the wind mill with it. I also give unto my son John Griffith the balance of the land that I bought of Daniel R. Hall joining the marsh. Signed with his mark, Moses Griffith. Witnesses: Azariah Williams, Sarah (her mark) Spady, Mathew (his mark) Pratt.
