  	Upon the complaint of Mr. William Jones against John Whitehead, this day proved by the depostion of William Taylor. It was ordered that the damages the said Mr. Jones shall make appearance he hath sustained by the said Whitehead, by tearing and killing his hogs. Shall make payment with court charges. On this same date the deposition of Elizabeth, the wife of Wm. Taylor, taken in open court, saith that Ben Matthews, being at the house of Capt. Steph. Charlton, did say that Mr. Charlton made him pay for that ox he would kill as many as came into his fields as were worth 10,000 weight and he would work for more.
