  	Death of Mr Harvey Barnes The venerable Harvey Barnes one of the oldest and best known citizens of Portsmouth died at his residence No 213 Fourth street, yesterday morning about 8:45 o'clock The deceased was over eighty years of age and was highly respected. He served the city at times as a member of the City Council and at the time of his death was a member of Naval Lodge No 100 A.F. and A.M. The funeral will take place from the residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Published by: The Norfolk Landmark - 16 Aug 1892 - Page 4, Norfolk, Virginia.
