- Mrs. Adda Parker, widow of the late Albert Parker, died at her home on the Meadow Lane Road, near Cash Corner, of Paralysis, on Sunday April 5th. Mrs. Parker was 84 years of age and is survived two sons, Harrison and Elsie Parker; three daughters, Mrs. Ella Butler, Mrs. Dollie Blades and Mrs. Virginia Dize; and four sisters, Mrs. Nancy Purnell of Crisfield, Mrs. Dora Ward, of Marion, Susan Rayfield of Cash Corner, and Mrs. Robert Hickman of Rock Creek. Funeral services were held at the home at 1 p. m., on Tuesday. No clergyman being present, the services were conducted by Mr. John A. Bradshaw, the undertaker. Interment was made in St. Paul's cemetery. The Crisfield Times, Crisfield, Maryland, Saturday, April 11, 1925, p. 5 (NOTE: Findagrave also shows that Mrs. Ada Parker was the daughter of Issac Hickman and Ella Tyler, both of Maryland.
