- In his will Joab Bell gave 1/2 A. where the meeting house now stands to the use of the baptist preachers for their use to preach. To my loving wife Keziah during her widowhood the use of all the land where I now live, 1/3 of all the land at the marsh where my son Isaac now lives, and n. Pleasant forever. To my son Isaac the 100 A. where he now lives. To my son George the land where I now live after wife's widowhood. To my son William all the land that I recovered of John Major. - In his will John Rogers gave to wife Ann Rogers the use of one half of my land during her natural life. At her death I give the same to my daughter Susanna. I give and bequeath to my daughter Susanna Rogers all the remainder of my estate. In case my said daughter Susanna should die under lawful age and without issue I then give all that I here give her unto my brother Robert Rogers' children. I desire that my wife have the use of one half of my still and the appurtenances during her life to distill her own liquor in and that the said still may be set up on my land if she should think proper. I appoint my friend James Fitchett, executor. Signed John Rogers. Witnesses: Rickards Dunton, Thomas Dixon and George Bell.
