• Notes

  Married: The Robert Hickman and Stephen Hickman, sons of Constable Thomas Hickman by a former marriage, appear to have been the same Robert and Stephen who inherited, together, 1/6 of the real estate of the Edward Hickman who died intestate in 1797. Evidently Edward Hickman had a daughter who predeceased her fahter, and was the mother of Robert & Stephen Hickman. She would have been a sister to Thomas Hickman B.S. who married Constable Thomas Hickman and died before 1785, when he remarried Delaney Lilliston.
